The holiday season is upon us, and with Thanksgiving just around the corner, we all know that the kitchen can become a chaotic place. Between basting the turkey, whipping up mashed potatoes, and ensuring the cranberry sauce is just right, having a simple yet impressive appetizer can be a lifesaver. That’s where our Cheesy Spinach Artichoke Bread comes in – a delicious, crowd-pleasing creation that’s not only easy to make but will leave your guests raving.

Thanksgiving Recipes

But before I share this AMAZING and EASY recipe, I am so excited to share that I am joining 8 friends who are also sharing their favorite Thanksgiving recipes. Just scroll down to the bottom and click over to save their recipes to make your Thanksgiving the best this year!

Ingredients:

• 1 loaf of artisan bread
• 1 container (12 ounces) of spinach artichoke dip
• 6 ounces of mozzarella cheese
• Olive Oil (to brush on the top of the loaf)

Instructions:

Preheat and Prepare

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. While it’s warming up, take out a loaf of artisan bread and a serrated bread knife. Carefully slice the bread in one direction, creating cuts about 1 inch apart, making sure not to cut all the way through the bottom. Rotate the loaf 180 degrees and repeat the process, creating a beautiful grid of squares.

Stuff with Goodness

Spoon the spinach artichoke dip generously into the spaces you’ve created between the slices. The beauty of this recipe lies in the way the dip will settle into the depths of the bread, creating a perfect balance of cheesy goodness and creamy artichoke flavor.

Top it Off

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the bread. This step adds a layer of gooey, melty goodness that will make your Cheesy Spinach Artichoke Bread utterly irresistible.

As Thanksgiving approaches, the anticipation of a delicious feast and a beautifully set table fills the air. Hosting a memorable Thanksgiving gathering doesn’t have to be stressful, especially when it comes to creating a stunning centerpiece. Join me and 14 friends as we share inspiring Thanksgiving table ideas, and discover an easy yet breathtaking centerpiece idea that will elevate your hosting game.

Live Pumpkin No-Carve Floral Centerpiece

Imagine a gorgeous fall centerpiece that not only captures the essence of the season but is also a breeze to put together. Enter the live pumpkin no-carve floral centerpiece—an updated and simplified version of the traditional pumpkin vase. With this technique, you can craft a centerpiece in less than 10 minutes that will leave your guests in awe. A few years ago I shared a Live Pumpkin Flower Centerpiece with a hollowed out pumpkin and vase inside for the flowers. It was beautiful, but this idea is so much easier to make because there is no carving involved!

Supplies You’ll Need:

1. A live pumpkin (choose any size that suits your preference)
2. Flowers (opt for a variety; I used affordable and beautiful blooms from Trader Joe’s)
3. Floral foam (available [here](insert link))
4. Hot glue gun (optional, in case your pumpkin has a small or no stem)

Directions:

1. Prepare the Base: Place the floral foam on top of the pumpkin. If your pumpkin has a small stem or none at all, use a hot glue gun to secure the foam. Avoid wetting the floral foam until the arrangement is complete to prevent it from becoming too soft and breaking.
2. Create the Arrangement: Begin by adding draping foliage at the base of the floral foam, allowing it to cascade down the sides of the pumpkin. Then, position the main flower in the center at the top. Arrange larger flowers, such as roses, and matching blooms symmetrically around the main flower. As you proceed, fill in the remaining space with smaller flowers and greenery until the floral foam is no longer visible.
3. Mist with Water: Once the arrangement is set, mist the floral foam with water until it’s saturated. This step is crucial for maintaining the freshness of your centerpiece, as the flowers will continue to absorb water through the floral foam. While it’s best to create the centerpiece on the day of use, misting the foam a couple of times a day will help preserve the arrangement for a few days.

Tips for Success:

• Choose Your Pumpkin: Select a pumpkin that complements your table decor. Feel free to experiment with different sizes and shapes for a dynamic effect.
• Grocery Store Flowers: You don’t need to splurge on expensive flowers. Grocery store blooms, when arranged thoughtfully, can create an impressive centerpiece that rivals high-end florals.
• Keep It Fresh: Misting the floral foam regularly will prolong the life of your centerpiece. Ensure the foam stays moist to help the flowers stay vibrant and lively.

Hi friends! Are you hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner this year? This festive little side dish is the perfect addition to any gathering, especially during the holidays. Bacon-wrapped green bean bundles are already proportioned so they are so easy to serve. Guests will love these delicious green bean bundles!

Today I am joining friends who are all sharing the BEST Thanksgiving side dishes. These recipes will be the hit of your holiday dinner. Be sure to scroll down to grab each of these delicious ideas!

A Twist on a Traditional Thanksgiving Side Dish

Did you grow up with the classic green bean casserole on your moms Thanksgiving table?? Of course, I love the original, but a few of my kids don’t care for the texture of the sauce and softness of the green beans. This green bean dish gives a nod to the traditional green bean casserole, but with a crisper bean and additional savory flavor of bacon.

How Long Does it Take to Make Bacon-Wrapped Green Bean Bundles?

Unlike some Thanksgiving side dishes that takes HOURS of prep and banking time, these green bean bundles take under 3o minutes to make!

Make Ahead of Time

You can also make these green bean bundles ahead of time and pop them in the oven minutes before dinner is served. You can make the green bean bundles the night before. All you need to do is follow the recipe up until the last step. When you have the bundles are tied up with the chive bows, simply put them on a plate of baking sheet and cover them with plastic wrap and put them in the fridge.

Then take them out of the fridge about half an hour before you want to eat and then pop them in the oven. You might have to adjust the baking time to accommodate the fact that they are cold now, so I would add about 5 minutes onto the baking time. Instead of baking them for 7 minutes, I would cook them for about 12 minutes to make sure they cook thoroughly.

A Low-Carb Side Dish

One thing I love about these green bean bundles, besides the fact that they are so delicious, is the fact that they are a great low-carb recipe. Especially since Thanksgiving is typically full of carbs, these green bean bundles are a nice, fresh alternative to the holiday meal. These green bean bundles are also keto and paleo friendly, which is so nice if you are following a low-carb lifestyle and want to stay on track during the holidays! Each bundle comes in at 4 grams of carbs, 112 calories (approximately, with 10-12 green beans per bundle)

Gluten Free Side Dish

These green bean bundles are also gluten free! It’s nice to have a festive alternative to carb-heavy gluten recipes that Thanksgiving is known for. They are also Keto friendly with 4 bet carbs per bundle. And they are delicious. Anyone will love them, whether they are following have dietary restrictions or not!

Another fun fact about these green bean bundles is you can customize the butter glaze! Choose flavors you and your family like most. Make it spicier by adding a touch of cayenne pepper or add more fresh herbs for a flavor explosion.

• Preheat oven to 400-degrees
• Put bacon slices on parchment paper baking sheet and bake for 7 minutes.
• While bacon is cooking, cut ends of green beans.
• Fill a large pot with hot water and a pinch of salt. Put pot on stove and let it come to a boil.
• Once water is boiling, add green beans and cook for 2 minutes.
• While beans cook, fill a large bowl with water and add ice.
• As soon as beans have been cooking for 2 minutes, take them off the stove, drain and immediately add to ice water to stop cooking process.
• After beans have cooled, take them out of the pot and onto a clean dishtowel or paper towels and blot until fairly dry.
• Make glaze – melt butter, add pepper, garlic salt and Italian seasoning. Whisk to combine.
• Put beans back in the large bowl and pour the glaze over the top. Use a wooden spoon to stir the beans around so the glaze evenly coats the beans.
• Put a piece of parchment paper on another baking sheet. Place one piece of bacon on the baking sheet. Put 10-12 green beans in the center of the bacon and wrap the bacon around the beans. Use a long piece of chive to wrap around the bacon and tie in a knot at the top. Do this to all pieces of bacon – you will have 6-7 bundles of beans.
• Put the baking sheet with green bundles in the oven and bake for 7 minutes.
• After 7 minutes, take the baking sheet out and transfer the bundles to a serving tray and serve immediately.
• Enjoy!

Notes

TIP – If you want to make these green bean bundles the night before, do all the steps in the recipe until you get to the part where you bake the green bean bundles. Once you have the green bean bundles wrapped, you can put a piece of plastic wrap over the top and pop them in the fridge. Then take them out about half an hour before you want to eat. Increase the bake time from 7 minutes to 12 to accommodate the colder temperature of the green bean bundles.

Early Holiday Inspiration

Hi friends! How was your week? Can you believe that it’s almost November?? This year has flown by. This week I’m sharing some easy ways to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas! The holidays are even more enjoyable when you are organized and have everything planned out ahead of time. You are going to LOVE these ideas that will save you time!

New Projects

This week I shared the easiest fall dinner idea.

This is the easiest fall dinner idea — Zucchette Pasta Bake. Full directions below

Did you know zucchette means small pumpkins? @traderjoes has this cute pumpkin-shaped butternut pasta right now. They also have a yummy autumnal havest creamy pasta sauce. And don’t worry if you aren’t a big squash or pumpkin-flavor fan, the flavor is so subtle and delicious! My kids loved it! Here’s how to make this easy dinner idea

Ingredients:

Traders Joe’s Zucchette pasta
Trader Joe’s autumnal harvest pasta sauce
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese

cook pasta in boiling water until al dente

pour pasta into a baking dish with a little olive oil on the bottom.

sprinkle pasta with Parmesan cheese.

pour pasta sauce over the top. I also added about 1/4 cup of water to the bottle and swirled it around to get all of the pasta sauce and poured the water over the top.

sprinkle shredded Colby Jack cheese over the top.

cook in a 35-degree oven until cheese is melted.

sprinkle with fresh basil (optional but so yummy)

enjoy!!

A New Adventure

I also started a new adventure as a real estate agent with an amazing Avenues business – City Home Collective! I spent a long time considering who I wanted to work with and I felt such a strong draw to City Home. Free Friendsgiving Leftover Printable Tags and Sign

I had so much fun creating our bright Friendsgiving party for my daughter and her friends. Of course we had so much food left over, so I made some matching printable leftover tags so everyone could take some leftovers home! I’m sharing these free printables along with some talented friends who are also sharing Friendsgiving ideas! Scroll down to see all of the ideas and hop over to read all of the Friendsgiving posts!!

12 Gorgeous Friendsgiving Ideas

Colorful Friendsgiving Leftover Tags

SInce we went colorful for our Friendsgiving celebration, I thought it would be fun to use colorful tags for the leftovers as well. If you would like more neutral tags, just select black and white on your printer and you can print them out in black and white!

How to Make a Leftover Station

I created a leftover station using a bar cart that I thrifted! This is where your guests can put their take home containers together and add their printable leftover tags. Here’s what I used in the leftover station:

• Take Home Containers (these are the containers I used)
• Forks (included in the kit above)
• String (included in the kit above)
• Scissors
• Hole Punch
• Printable Sign which I framed
• Different sized printable tags. I created these wrap-around tags, as well as two sizes of cut-apart square tags. You whichever work best with your take home containers.
• Pen (so guests can write their name on their leftovers)

Here’s the little sign that I made and framed. I cut it down so that it fit inside a 6 inch x 4 inch opening. But the paper is 8.5 inches x 11. So you can use any frame that you want. Or just tape it onto the wall behind the leftover station with some cute washi tape!

Wrap-Around Left Over Tags

I decided that these wrap around small tags work the best with the small size take out containers that I used. Just print them out, cut them into strips, Then center the tag in the middle of the take out container and wrap the edges around the two sides and secure with tape. Then tie some string around the containers and stick a fork on top and you have lunch for the next day!

Here are the larger tags. You can tape these onto containers or use a hole punch and use twine to attach these to whatever size container you have.

These are a little smaller than the ones above. You can cut these out and use them in both of the ways I described above.

Colorful Thanksgiving Leftover Tags

These leftover tags can be use for friendsgiving and also for Thanksgiving too! Your guests will love taking home some hearty Thanksgiving leftovers. Because, aren’t leftovers the best part of Thanksgiving?? I think so!
