I LOVE fall. There’s something so magical about this time of year! It’s the season of cozy sweaters, warm drinks, and time spent with loved ones around the fire. For me, fall is all about creating a warm and inviting atmosphere at home—a place where you can fully embrace the season’s charm and make memories with your friends and family. This year, I’m excited to share how I’ve added some simple yet impactful fall elements to our home, making it a cozy haven for these special autumn days.

Fall Updates in Our Home This Year
I added a few simple elements to our home this year. I love lighting the candles at night, with the windows open letting the fall air inside.
Fall Wreath in the Kitchen
I love hanging a wreath above out stove. This year I hung a raffia pumpkin instead of a basic wreath. And faux fall flowers and then added my favorite fall ribbon. I love the candy-corn colors of this ribbon.
Fall Decor on the Open Shelves
To complement the wreath, I added a few carefully selected fall decor items to the open shelves in our kitchen. I switched out summer flowers in my white pots for fall leaves and it instantly adds autumn vibes.
New Throw and Pillow in the Family Room
In the family room, I introduced a new throw and pillow that not only bring in the cozy factor but also tie in with the autumn color palette. These simple additions make the room feel warm and inviting, perfect for those cool fall evenings.
Easy Fall Centerpiece on the Coffee Table
The coffee table in our family room now features an easy fall centerpiece. This arrangement is a blend of seasonal elements that create a focal point in the room, adding to the overall cozy atmosphere.
Fall Porch Makeover
Our porch received a full fall makeover this year. I added VIRAL stacked pumpkin topiaries, added a matching fall wreath, and layered a pumpkin rug over a plaid rug in front of the door. The pumpkin garland over the door and candy-corn-colored ribbon bows all around bring everything together for a welcoming fall entrance. I’ll be sharing more details about this porch transformation later this weekend!
Cozy Elements in the Bedroom
Inside, I’ve also added some cozy touches to our bedroom. A cozy quilt and soft duvet cover are perfect to wrap up in for an afternoon nap or to read my favorite Outlander novels. I think a lot of people don’t think about decorating their bedroom for the seasons, but it is my favorite way to make our bedroom feel like a restful retreat!
