Grandma’s Classic Cheese Ball

15-Minute Snowman White Cheese Ball Recipe. Mozzarella, cream cheese, Worchesterchire sauce and spices rolled in shaved Parmesan cheese. Divide the cheese ball into two parts and make it into a delightful snowman that will be the hit of any holiday or Winter party!

We took grandma’s classic recipe, substituted the cheddar cheese for Mozzarella – to make the cheese ball look more like snow. Then we rolled the cheese ball in light and delicate Parmesan cheese, to look like freshly fallen snow.

Divide the Cheese Ball into Two Sections

15-Minute Snowman White Cheese Ball Recipe. Mozzarella, cream cheese, Worchesterchire sauce and spices rolled in shaved Parmesan cheese. Divide the cheese ball into two parts and make it into a delightful snowman that will be the hit of any holiday or Winter party!

We wanted to make our cheese ball look like a snowman. So we took the cheese ball and divided it into two sections. One section is slightly larger than the other – making the top one look like the snowman’s head.

Add a Snowman Face

15-Minute Snowman White Cheese Ball Recipe

To make the snowman’s face, we took some peppercorn kernals and put two in the middle of the head for the eyes. Then we added 6 more at the bottom of the head for the mouth. We experimented with the snowman’s nose. At first we tried a bit of red pepper. But then we decided to use the very end of a tiny carrot! At the top of the head we wound a little garland of fresh rosemary and added sliced olives for the snowman’s buttons.

Everything Bagel Cheese Ball

Everything Bagel Seasoning Cheeseball Recipe - perfect for the holidays! Soft and flavorful on the inside and crunchy and nutty on the outside. We took grand,ma's classic cheeseball recipe and added a crunchy and zesty twist!

We have a super popular recipe on our site — Everything Bagel Cheese Ball. We adapted grandma’s basic cheese ball recipe and rolled it in Everything Bagel seasoning for a slightly nutty, crunchy topping. It’s so good! To create this winter white snowman cheese ball, we took that recipe and tweaked it a little. Be sure to check our the original recipe and you can make both because they compliment each other.

Chill the Snowman

If you are making this recipe for a party, be sure to let the snowman chill for a couple of hours. Just make the recipe and pop it into the fridge before serving.

Prep Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 8 ounce pkgs. cream cheese
  • 8 ounces shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 ounces grated or shredded Pamesan Cheese
  • 2 t. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 t. garlic powder
  • 1/4 t. cayenne pepper
  • items to make face — 8 peppercorns, small tip of carrot, two black olive, sprig of rosemary

Instructions

  1. 1. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powered, cayenne pepper until combined.

  2. 2. Add Mozzarella cheese and use hands to combine the cheese together with cream cheese mixture into a ball. Then separate into two balls – one a little larger than the other.

  3. 3. Pour the shredded or shaved Parmesan cheese into a smaller bowl. Roll cheese balls in Parmesan cheese until covered.

  4. 4. Place the larger cheese ball on the bottom and the smaller one on top. Make the snowman face. Place two peppercorns in the middle of the face. Then add the tip of a carrot under the eyes. Press all into the cheese ball slightly so they will stick.

  5. 5. Add sliced olives to the front of the larger cheeseball. Press them into the snowman so they stick. Then add a sprig of rosemary to the top of the snowman's head. You can use toothpicks to secure it into place.

  6. 6. chill snowman in fridge for 2 hours. You can also make this appetizer the night before and cover it in the fridge overnight to serve the next day.

Enjoy your Snowman White Cheese Ball
