Somebody pinch us! We’re on Tatertots and Jello!! Seriously, we’ve been followers, bookmarkers, pinners, (Go Pinterest!), and creaters of her inspiring projects for a long time! Thanks for having us Jen!!

Allow us to introduce…

I’m Staci.

I’ve been married 7 and 1/2 years to a man I met in Bolivia. You know, just some man. J/K!! We were missionaries together over in the Santa Cruz Bolivia mission. I’m now a barely sane SAHM of three darling kiddos 6yrs and younger. Crafty things make me happy, and are probably what help me keep my sanity.

And I’m Marina,

I have been married for 9 years to my amazing and supportive husband. I have two little girls that are the inspiration behind most of my crafty attempts. We are two best friends that love to blog, sew and create…

We are the crazy bloggers behind the scenes of Just Sew Sassy!

We have lots of fun attempting crafts, tutorials, and yummy recipes every week! We would love for you to stop by and say hi!

Sooo… happy May all you fabulous TT&J readers!!! Can you believe we’re almost done with school! Summer is right around the corner, which was the inspiration for our tutorial today.

Don’t you think starburst mirrors are sooo fun…

{Under The Table and Dreaming}

We wanted to create a fun, memorable, and reusable gift for our kids’ amazing teachers this year.

How ’bout a starburst mirror with an “old school” twist!!

Tutorial: Penciled Starburst Mirror

You’ll use about 54 pencils, depending on your spacing

Hot glue, stick ’em on, repeat:)

(The ribbon part is optional)

If your silhouette is behaving, (mine wasn’t), you can use transfer paper to make the placement of the vinyl much easier

Personalize your gift with a cute lil tag…

Thanks again for having us today Jen! Please come by and say hi sometime:) We’re having a month of giveaways in June to celebrate 1 year of blogging!!

Hope you all make it through the rest of this crazy month of May!!!

Staci and Marina — those Pencil Starburst Mirrors are so fun! Thank you for sharing them with us!!

I made these for my kids teachers this year and they LOVED them, they fully intend on putting them up in their classrooms next year, so thank you SO much for this super cute idea! I blogged about my experience with this craft at:
