Loaded Peanut Butter Crispy Treats

If my two favorite sweet treats were to get married they would be Mr. and Mrs. Loaded Peanut Butter Crispy Treats! I am Kelsey from the blog Poofy Cheeks – crispy treats and peanut butter are two of my guilty pleasures. I am excited to be back on TT&J sharing the recipe for a sinfully delicious sweet treat you won’t be able to resist. If you think you can stop at just one I dare you to try!

Loaded Peanut Butter Crispy Treats

Loaded PB Treats

Loaded PB Crispy Treat Recipe-

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces
  • 1/2 cup mini Reese cups

Directions:

  1. In a large pot melt butter over medium heat.
  2. After butter is melted add marshmallows stirring constantly until completely melted.
  3. Once marshmallows are melted and smooth stir in peanut butter. Remove from heat and immediately stir in cereal.
  4. Stir cereal until well coated and then transfer to a greased 9×13 pan, using fingers to push evenly across pan.
  5. Allow cereal to cool for a minute and then pour Reese Pieces over top gently pushing them into the cereal. Repeat with the mini Reese cups, allow to cool completely (if you can), cut into bars and serve.

Loaded Peanut Butter Treats

I served these to my kids as an after school treat and I’m not sure they have been so quiet after returning from school before. There was chewing and no talking. I hope you enjoy this perfect marriage of treats as much as we did!
