White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M Cookie Mix in a Jar

Hi, Tatertots & Jello readers! It’s Laurie from Gallamore West, and it seriously is such a treat for me to be back here again sharing another sweet recipe with you. This month I’m sharing my White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M Cookie Mix in a Jar recipe with you.

Cookie Mixes in a Jar are such a fun gift to give because they look adorable and they are easy because you don’t even have to do any baking. Receiving them is fun too because you can whip up a batch of delicious cookies anytime. I’ve made these for Easter with pastel M&Ms, a birthday party with coordinating party colors, Christmas with red & green M&Ms… these cookie mix jars are just fun!

I just adore these cute rustic looking glass jars in the Dollar Spot at Target right now. They are a little on the small side, but they make the cutest Cookie Mix Jars. I also bought the White Chocolate Candy Corn M&Ms at Target.

Have you tried these White Chocolate Candy Corn M&Ms? I know that candy corn is a candy that people either seem to love or hate. There really is no middle ground there. I happen to LOVE them, and I love the White Chocolate Candy Corn M&Ms too, although honestly they taste more like white chocolate to me than candy corn. And I just love the vibrant colors.

Here is what you need to put into the jar:

1/2 cup M&Ms, divided
1/2 cup brown sugar, not packed
1 cup flour
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Start with 1/4 cup M&Ms at the bottom of the jar. Slowly spoon in the brown sugar. Slowly add in the flour with a spoon, then top the flour with the white sugar, salt, and baking soda. Add in the other 1/4 cup M&Ms on top of the flour mixture.

Be sure to include instructions on what to add and how to bake the cookies too! You can right click on mine below to print if you’d like. I print 6 to a page so that they come out cute and small to tie onto my jars.

A couple of hints to keep your jar looking its best:

-Gently add each ingredient with a small spoon (rather than pouring it in with a measuring cup) because your ingredients will stay more layered by spooning them in.

-Take care to keep the jar level while tying on ribbon and a tag, and while delivering it to keep the layers separate in the jar.
