Simple Spring Flower Mantel

After the long winter here in Utah, I look forward to sunshine and spring flowers! I brought a little bit of Spring into our new home this year by creating a simple spring mantel with a FLOWER theme.

Easy Flower Decor

I had a set of four flower prints in our bedroom at our old house. Because our bedroom is in the attic in the avenues house, I couldn’t use these prints on our walls since they are angled. I used two of the prints on this mantel.

Simple Small Vases

Add some bright blooms to small vases. I love the way each vase is a different shape and color. I lined the vases up under the flower prints.

Create a Paper Banner

Paper banners are SO easy to make with the Banner Punchboard. You can make dozens of different sizes of banners in three different banner shapes.

I also love that the banner punchboard has a hole punch at the top so once you have your banner shapes cut out, all you have to do is punch the tops and string some twine through!

Hey! Hello! Paper at JoAnn Stores

I used my new Pebbles Hey! Hello! line of paper for this banner. I also used the new polka dot pink thickers – they are so cute!! My new line is shipping now and will be in JoAnn Stores in April!!

Add Flowers to the Bottom of the Mantel

I added fresh hydrangeas and put them on a dipped stool on one side of the mantel. On the other side of the mantel I put some faux flowers in a galvanized flower bucket.

Flower Sign

A black and white flower sign is resting on a little stool in front of the hydrangeas and echoes the flower theme! I love the way my little fireplace looks all decked out for Spring!!
