This post is brought to you by Shutterfly. I just love Valentine’s Day!! And this year I thought it would be so fun to go with a traditional red and white Valentine decor! I created THREE different hearts with bold happy patterns in stripes, polka dots and houndstooth. I printed them on canvases and mounted them on my vintage door mantel!
I also created a printable with red hearts and one gold heart. You can also print that on a canvas, or I made it into a pillow. I just love it on my couch!
The classic red and white patterns are so bright and happy for Valentine’s Day!
And here are the printables!
These are giant files for printing at large size at Shutterfly.
You may want to resize for printing at home, and use your print dialog settings to size the image to print for your frame.
Right-click this link or the image below to download the houndstooth heart: Right-click this link or the image below to download the polka-dot heart: Right-click this link or the image below to download the striped heart:
And finally, right click this link or the image below to download the heart pattern I used for the pillow!
As always, these are for personal use only.

Hi there!
Ive downloaded the pics (right clicked and hit save image) and am trying to print so that I can transfer onto some canvas I have at home but the program tells me the resolution is not good enough for an 8 x 10. Any idea if I am doing something wrong?
Jeff says
MeganW » Hi Megan! You want to “save file as” or “save link as” — try using the text links. The images are just to show you what they look like: the downloadable files are huuuuuuuge and should be plenty big for 8×10.

Where did you find the vintage door? Any other suggestions of something I could use instead? What size are your canvases?
Jen says
I picked it up at an architectural salvage shop in downtown SLC. You can just use any old door if you like! If you’re in SLC or close let me know and I can pass along the info.
Jen says
The canvases are 16×16.

Love this Jen! Your living room looks adorable:-)

I may be a little mixed up, but when I try to download the striped heart, I get a polka dot one. I’ve tried all the links several times and end up with 2 polka dots and one houndstooths. When I try to download the houndstooth from the direct pic, it tells me the resolution isn’t good enough to upload for the bigger prints like you have
Help! What am I doing wrong? I LOVE these and wanted to get them ordered for Valentines!
THANK YOU so much for such a wonderful and creative idea. Love, Love, Love your stuff
Jen says
oops! All fixed!
