I just finished our bedroom remodel and I am loving having a real bedroom again! One of my favorite parts of the project is this little fireplace makeover! We took out the 90’s tan stone and replaced it with this hexagon black tiles. We also brought brought the tile higher up on the wall and put in a natural wood mantel! It’s our kitten’s very favorite spot!

I love adding things at different heights. For this mantel I hung the stockings on the left side of the mantle. Then I elevated a little christmas tree and added it to the same side of the fireplace. This makes your eye got from the wreath to the mantel and down to the bottom of the fireplace. Next to the stool I added a little basket.
