Strawberry Shortcake Cream Cheese Waffles
Did you see my new favorite thing?? The Fluffiest Waffles Ever?? They are SO good. And so sweet. Almost a dessert all by themselves.
I thought it would be fun to make a strawberry shortcake dessert using these waffles with a light and fluffy cream cheese topping. I am presenting to you — Strawberry Shortcake Cream Cheese Waffles! Make these waffles for brunch or for dessert. Either way your family will gobble them up.
Strawberry Shortcake Cream Cheese Waffles
We had some left over and my daughter who missed them the first time around ate them cold and thought they were SO good!
You can stack the waffles in a row with layers of fluffy cream cheese topping in between. Then sprinkle them with strawberry slices.
Or serve them on a platter for easy access.
Make these for an amazing Mother’s Day Brunch or on a tray as a treat for your man on Father’s Day!!
Here’s the recipe for Strawberry Shortcake Cream Cheese Waffles:
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar)
- 2 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
- 8 ounces fat-free cream cheese, softened
- This recipe uses waffles from The Fluffiest Waffles Ever recipe.
- Make waffles and while the waffles are cooking make this simple Cream Cheese Topping:
- Beat the whipping cream,powdered sugar, and vanilla (or almond extract) in mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Then add cream cheese and mix until the topping is smooth.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
