Free Halloween Treat Popcorn Box
Happy Monday!!
I am so excited to tell you about a FUN blog hop I am participating in!!
It’s all centered around Popcorn Boxes for Halloween!
So here’s my idea. I made a FREE Black and White Poka Dot printable popcorn box AND two different medallions. You can print them off and use them for Halloween parties or hand them out on the 31st!!
Here’s how to create the Black and White Polka Dot Popcorn Buckets:
Some tips on folding the “lollies” — Fold the printable in half first with the fold pointing towards you (the center is marked with slightly darker lines), then folding every other fold mark in the same direction. Then fold along the lines you skipped in the opposite direction by just folding between each fold. Just try it; it will make more sense. The printables are marked with fold lines to make it easy — I think it’s better to fold first and then trim off the excess.
I then tape the edges of each of the three folded strips together, overlapping each one a bit and then taping them with invisible tape on both front and back. Tape all three together to make a full circle, then gather one end — I suggest the end with the thicker stripe — together into the center. I then place a square piece of packing tape on the back to hold it in place and use the medallion printable on the front to hold it there, again with a loop of packing tape. Also, I think the lollies look better with the thinner lines on the outside, but you can do it whichever way you like.
And thanks to HP, who were kind enough to send me a new HP Photosmart 7520, I printed these on a nice glossy paper. I found that cardstock was hard to fold for the lollies but worked great for the medallions: HP’s brochure paper was perfect. I’ve been needing a new printer, and the HP Photosmart 7520 was super easy to set up and attach to my wireless network (WiFi) so that everyone in the house can print to it. (It also has scanner, copier and fax capabilities.) The ink coverage was great — I’ll show more of what it does with color and other things later, but I’ve been impressed with it and its easy-to-use touchscreen. (I can even email things I want it to print and print things from my iPhone!)
Halloween Treat Printables
Here are the printables in both black and orange versions, as always, free for personal use!
Popcorn Buckets (or Popcorn Bucket Sleeves)
I created these to fit around a standard popcorn bucket — or print them on cardstock and use them alone! You will need to print two pages to make one popcorn bucket. Just cut along the outside gray lines and fold along the inside ones. Just fold the bottom together and use the small side fold to overlap with the other half (tape or glue on the inside).

“Lollies” or Folded Rosettes
See my tips above to make folding easier! You get one lolly from each page.

“31” Medallion Centers
These are easy — just cut along the wavy lines or in a circle around the medallions.

Very cute- I love black & white decorations for Halloween- instead of the traditional orange/black combo. I have an HP printer that lets me print from my phone- LOVE that feature. I can send campaign emails to my printer when we are out & they are ready for me when I get home.
