Valentine ♥ Kisses Gift Idea (tutorial)!!

Good Morning Tatertots & Jello and friends!

How is everyone doing today?

This is Desirée from The 36th AVENUE

and I am SUPER EXCITED to be HERE with you all sharing my little Valentine Gift for my Hubby…

I am giving him this year a bunch of kisses 😉

For this project you’ll need very few materials:

1/4 of a Yard of Clear Plastic Vinyl.

{ You can find this at any fabric Store or even at your local Wal-Mart }

Scissors or Cutting Board

Thread and Sewing Machine

Craft Paper

Ribbon.

TUT♥RIAL

ONE

♥

I used the cutting board to cut a 8.5″ x 11″ piece of plastic

and a small 2.75″ x 2.75″ for the pocket.

If you don’t have a cutting board trace a sheet of paper on the plastic and use your scissors.

TWO

♥.♥

Fold the larger piece in half and make a crease using your fingers.

I clipped the sides so they wouldn’t move while sewing.

THREE

♥.♥.♥

Time to sew the bag!

Before you sew the sides together make sure you sew the little pocket to the front of your bag.

Then sew three of the sides of the bag together leaving the opening on top.

At this point it should look like this… { without the tag }

FOUR

♥.♥.♥.♥

Make the little tag for the pocket.

Girl, put some lipstick and stamp your kiss on white card-stock.

Cut it and sew it to another piece of card stock of your choice.

FIVE

♥.♥.♥.♥.♥

You are almost done… It is time to add some embellishments!

Fill the bag with kisses and tie a ribbon around it to close your bag.

I used two different sizes of heart punch holders to make my hearts.

If you don’t have one you can cut them with scissors…

Then I cut a little rectangle and wrote ” kiss me” and with an ink pad I antiqued the edges…

Few more little holes to thread the baker’s twine…

And guess what?

I was done!

I made a little printable to go with it…

I think he is going to love it !

I am sharing the FREE PRINTABLE today on my blog…

Feel free to come over and print your own HERE!

So there you have it…

………………

Thank you Jen my sweet dear friend for having me another month

and giving me the opportunity to share the love with your EXTRAORDINARY readers!

I {♥} Valentines!

Desirée.

    Jen,

Oh how I have missed your blog! I’ve been so lost in baby land that I haven’t had any time to be crafty or creative. BUT, spring is on its way and it’s time to find a project. So thankful I can rely on your blog for inspiration!

This is the cutest idea for a Valentines gift! Thanks for the tutorial.
