New Years Eve Party Idea – Make No-Bake Oreo Mice Cookies!!

I’m super thrilled to be guest posting here today!

A Little Inspiration

My name is Angie from A Little Inspiration.
I love baking, I love crafting when the little one lets me, and I love life!
I’m a stay at home mom to a little inspiration of mine; my little girl named Aries.
Shes is the life, light and inspiration of my every days!

Today I’m showing you how to make a super easy NO BAKE Oreo Mice Cookies!

Super Fun to make with your kids this Holiday Season.
Recipe adapted by Taste of Home

What you’ll need
(Makes about 18 Cookies)
– A package of Oreos
– 2/3 Cup of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
– 1/3 of Sour Cream
– Black Licorie Candies for tail
– Red nonpareils for eyes
-Sliced Almonds
Directions:
– Melt chocolate chips on a small bowl on microwave or a double boiler
– Crush OREOS w/out the frosting until finely crumbs
– Add sour cream, and oreo crumbs to melted chocolate
– Refrigerate for 1hr

 

– Make small balls and refrigerate for another 10 minutes
– Cut licorices candies into thin strings for the tails
– Shape balls into a mice
– Roll balls into the Oreo crumbs
-Decorate and VIOLA!

    Could you clarify the recipe on the No Bake Oreo Mice Cookies? I”m not sure if I read it right, you have listed a pkg. of oreo’s, but use some in the cookie and some on the outside. How much on each or did you have another bag of oreo’s? I make some with the Hershey kiss and would like to try these. Thanks!

      So sorry.. Forgot to mention the amount of Oreos.

      Use about 10 Oreo s w/out the creme to make 1 cup and another 8 Oreo s for the outside garnish.
