I finally got my Halloween boxes out and spookified my mantle!! Ella was thrilled – she’s been asking me to get the boxes out for a few weeks 🙂
And, it ended up working out perfectly — because the delightful Beth @ Stories of A to Z is having a Spooktacular Mantle Party today!! So much fun!!
I just had to link up and join in the festivities!
A couple little projects I did to help spookify my mantle were — I bought a cheap orange platter and used my Silhouette to cut out a spider web with “{Spooky}” under and then I hot glued a scary spider onto the platter. Super easy and quick project. And, if you want to learn how to make a Dollar Store “BOO” picture, here’s that tutorial.
Another easy project was I cut out some vinyl bats and stuck them on my mantle. Simple and easy to remove after Halloween. Kind of like Char’s from Crap I’ve Made – have you seen her batty chandelier? Awesomeness!
I have this little spider light that I bought a few years ago. It’s so cute and it casts a warm little glow when it gets dark!
So now I’m ready for those Trick-or-Treaters!!
Go over and join in the fun Mantle Party over at The Stories of A to Z and see all of the beautiful mantle displays!!
And, another really great party going on today is the Silhouette Party over at This Blessed Nest!! I’m linking my spooky plate up over at the party. Go over and check it out!
xoxo
PS – Since I’m over having a spooky time at the Mantle Party tonight, the Weekend Wrap Up and giveaway post will not go up tonight, but will be announced tomorrow night!
And come back tomorrow for a Fun Hostess Gift Idea!!
