Make Ahead Christmas Craft Ideas
Today I am sharing some easy Christmas craft, holiday decor and gift ideas that will put you ahead of schedule. That way you can have more time during the hectic holidays to relax, make memories with your families and enjoy every moment!
Inexpensive Tissue Paper Trees
Last year I decorated with colorful honeycomb balls. I created these fun tissue paper trees to coordinate and they are so fun to make! The best part is, you can make your tissue paper trees in ANY color. So if you are a fan of neutral colors, just make your tissue paper trees in neutral shades. They are inexpensive to make so cute on a mantel or shelf. Plus, they are easy to store because you can lay them flat and the tissue paper layers lay flat for storage. I also have a FREE template you can cut out to make creating the trees so easy! Make some now and you can put them up when you’re ready to decorate!
DIY Wood and Tassel Ball Ornaments
Last year I fell in love with some pricey Crate and Barrel ornaments and created a knock off that was so fun to make! I painted some pink and I love how they turned out. Make them now and hang them up at Christmas. They also make the cutest gift toppers!
Scandinavian Snowflake Ornaments
I love simple design and these Scandinavian Snowflake Ornaments are one of my favorite items I bring out each year. This is another craft idea that you can create in ANY color. So if you like neutral colors, paint the background white and let the natural wood discs shine! These also are very easy to store because they stack up. You can also make this in a larger size hang them up!
Snowflake Wall Art
I created a copycat version of Pottery Barn’s $350 snowflake wall art for a fraction of the price. You can paint the background any color you want. I have the cut angles and complete tutorial on how to make it. One of my favorite things about this art is you can put it up in November and keep it up through the holidays and throughout winter!
Pottery Barn Inspired Christmas Mirror
Speaking of Pottery Barn, here’s another project I created that was inspired by them. This acid distressed christmas mirror is easy to make and perfect to display anywhere in your home!
DIY Lip Balm Gnomes
Now let’s talk gift ideas! If you have kids or teens, these little gnomes are SO fun to create! They will love making them for their friends. I love that this is a gift that is fun to create and people will use! The bodies are EOS lip balms! Your kids can make these now and have a special gift for their friends all ready to give out at Christmas!
Instagram Coasters and DIY Wooden Coaster Holder
This is a wonderful gift idea for teens or even as a family neighbor gift or a gift for grandma. Instagram Coasters and DIY Wooden Coaster Holder. Take their favorite IG pics and turn them into adorable stone coasters. I also have directions on how to make the custom box! Make them now and you have the perfect, personalized neighbor gift!
3-Ingredient Candy Cane Sugar Scrub
I love making handmade gifts that are useful. One of my favorites is making sugar scrub. This one is so easy to make and smells SO good! Sugar scrub exfoliates the skin, the peppermint stimulates the skin and it soothes the skin too. Make some as neighbor or friend gifts and they will be ready to give out when it’s time! I also have the free printable labels you can add!
