Ana White: The Handbuilt Home Book Giveaway

Tatertots & Jello is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

I am so excited today to tell you about an amazing new book by Ana White. I am a huge fan of Ana and all of her projects, her blog and her new book, The Handbuilt Home

Ana’s featured 34 of her favorite you-can-build-it plans in the book, plus two chapters on what tools to choose, how to choose materials and more! You’ll love them, and you’ll be inspired to build something on your own! She shows you how to build solid, well-crafted furniture that’s as good or even better than something store-bought. And when you build it, you can make exactly what you want — at a fraction of the cost of buying it premade!

And I’m giving away a copy of Ana’s new book to one of YOU!! Yay 🙂

You may already know Ana from her popular site, Ana White, Homemaker. She teaches everyone not to be afraid of making things — and has hundreds of projects on her site that you can build.

Ana does a great job of taking the mystery — and the fear — out of DIY projects and working with wood.

On her site, she says,

I discovered that using power tools was really not that bad, and that building was fun, and with the right plan, easy.  Because if I could build something, anyone can.

That’s inspiration for all of us (and she inspired me have gotten over any fear I might have had about large power tools).

(Here’s her The Handbuilt Home Book Promo from AnaWhite’sTheHandbuiltHome on Vimeo.)

And check out Ana’s book tour, happening now — maybe she’s coming to a spot near you! I love that most of her stops are at Home Depot locations, not bookstores!

And Ana is sharing one of her projects with TT&J readers — It’s her Farmhouse Bench! Just click on the link to get the free plans!!

She’ll be in Salt Lake City on Monday!

If you are in the area, come meet Ana with me on Monday. I hope to see you there!!

And I have a copy of Ana’s book to give away!!

Here’s how to enter.
