Hi friends! This is Amber and Danetta from Fun-Squared! We are two friends who love to have fun with gifts, parties, travels, food and just all around FUN! Today we are having fun with Red Velvet Valentine’s Cookies and we are excited to share them with you because they not only taste great (and we LOVE treats!), but they look so pretty and festive for the Valentine’s holiday too!
Red Velvet Valentine's Cookies
Aren’t they pretty?! They’re simple too-only 4 ingredients needed to make these.
And you can make them with XOXO’s too:Red Velvet Valentine's Cookie Recipe
We want to eat one right now! Want to join us? Let’s make them.

Red Velvet Valentine’s Cookies:

Ingredients Needed:

  • 1 Red Velvet Cake Mix
  • 1 stick (1/2 C) margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • Frosting (homemade or store bought-whichever you prefer)
  • Mini Valentine’s Cookie Cutters

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Combine your cake mix, margarine and egg with an electric mixer till well mixed.
Roll into balls that are about an inch and a half in size. Place them on a cookie sheet, gently press them down so that they are slightly flattened.
Bake for 9-11 minutes.
Allow them to cool.

Okay, serious note, there was no “rolling” this into balls at my house. It was a disturbingly sticky mess, let’s see if the ones that made it into the oven are salvageable! HA! What was the trick I missed to being able to roll them without a pound of dough stuck to my hands? 😛
