Hello!
I’m super excited to be here at Tatertots and Jello today!!
I’m Candice from She’s Crafty!
As a stay at home mom to 3 kids, I spend most of my time doing the 3 C’s:
cleaning, cooking and chauffeuring.
So having a creative outlet is my therapy!
I like to take pictures, decorate my home, plan parties and of course I do lots of crafting.
Today I’m sharing a project I made
using Jen’s super awesome Home + Made line from Pebbles.
With all the comings and goings of a busy family,
I’m always looking for ways to be more organized.
So I made a DIY dry erase wall calendar.

This line of products is so beautiful, I had the hardest time narrowing down
what I was going to use!
I finally ended up choosing:
3 patterned papers
gold dot stickers
chalkboard stickers
12 x 12 calendar on kraft paper
I also used washi tape and a 12 x 12 frame from my own supplies.
I cut a piece of polka dot paper down to fit in the ‘notes’ section.
Then I layered on a chalkboard sticker, some gold stickers and cut up strips of patterned paper.
The words on the patterned paper are so awesome!
It’s like a little motivational speech!
Then I layered more patterned paper strips above the days section and
hand wrote the days of the week.
I found a 12 x 12 frame at my local craft store.
I distressed the edges slightly with a little sand paper.
I wrote the month and days directly onto the glass with a sharpie.
That way the marker won’t rub off like a dry erase marker, but it’s removable with a magic eraser.
I will write all of our events on this calendar with a dry erase marker,
so I can change them as needed.
The calendar hangs in my office/craft heaven.
I really think it’s going to help me stay on task, now that life is getting busy
with school starting, sports, church and other things going on!
Thank you so much for having me Jen!
I really loved working with Jen’s new Home + Made line!
The products are so beautiful and inspiring and I can’t wait to do more projects with them!!
