After spending some time working on my own house — like the master bedroom makeover — I’ve had some time to work more on the 1905 Cottage.

(I’m planning to share the bathroom makeover next week!)

And I’m so inspired by all of the great projects shared each week that I wanted to help kick-start one of your DIY projects!

My biggest DIY project ever, my 1905 Cottage Remodel, is still underway, and it’s so satisfying to accomplish each major project!

Here are some Planked Walls in the cottage I showed earlier this summer – and showed you how to make the same thing!

Here’s one of the first projects from my 1905 Cottage, the modern, white fireplace that we use as the centerpiece of the living room/craft room now.

This spring I decided to entirely make over the front porch!

We completely remodeled the kitchen (well, the whole house, but especially the kitchen):

There are many projects I haven’t even had a chance to tell you about, like removing the patio overhang that was falling apart to give more light to the house — and prepare the way for a future pergola!

(Yes, we managed to take it off without damaging the house or ourselves!)
