The highlight of this space is the stunning original 1891 pocket door that welcomes everyone as they step into our home.

With the room switch-up complete, my focus shifted to the space above the buffet—a blank canvas waiting to be adorned with elements that would bring the room to life. Contemplating various decor options, I headed to Hobby Lobby Hobby to be inspired. Hobby Lobby’s Seasonal & other departments are 40% – 50% Off right now. I was looking for inspiration to infuse vibrancy and personality into this crucial area, the first thing you see upon entering our home.

I had been thinking about how to decorate above the buffet for a couple of months. I decided I wanted to put a mirror on the buffet. Did you know that Hobby Lobby has the best selections of mirrors? I found one that was the perfect size. I loved the scroll at the top and sides.
