How to Make Holiday Dipped Oreo Cookies
Here’s what you need to make these easy dipped cookies:
Dipped Oreo Holly Cookies
- Oreos (obviously haha)
- White Melting Chocolate – my favorite brand is Ghiradelli.
- Holly Edible Sprinkles
Directions:
- Melt white chocolate in microwave at 50% strength in 30 second intervals, stirring after each 30 seconds. Take out when chips look like they are getting soft and mix until melted. Don’t overcook.
- Dip each cookie in melted chocolate. I move the cookie back and forth to make a straight line and make the line as saturated as possible.
- Then pull the cookie out and let the excess drips go back into the bowl.
- Lay the cookie on parchment paper.
- While the chocolate is wet, gently place the two holly leaves at or under the line of chocolate and place the red hot under the leaves in the center of both holly leaves.
Christmas Tree Oreo Dipped Cookies
- Oreos
- White Melting Chocolate
- Green Icing. I found the BEST product for detailed icing. It comes in a four pack of colors and it makes decorating so easy!
- Red Hot Sprinkles – you can also use the red berries from the holly sprinkles if you are making those too.
- Gold Sprinkles
- Let chocolate dry before making the trees.
- Once chocolate is dry, use the green icing and paint a tree on each cookie. Start at the top of the cookie, above the chocolate and make the tip of the tree. Use a back and forth motion, go back and forth, getting larger until the bottom of the cookie.
- While the icing is still wet, place the red hot at the top of the tree.
- hen sprinkle the gold sprinkles over the body of the tree.
Crushed Oreo Dipped Oreos
Directions:
- Crush 3-4 of the small candy canes in a plastic bag.
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the crushed peppermint onto the top of the line where the chocolate starts.
