Spring Pretzel M&M Bite Ingredients
So, what do you need to bring this springtime sensation to life? Just gather up some pastel M&M’s, round pretzels, and chocolate baking chips, and you’re ready to get started. The combination of salty pretzels, creamy chocolate, and colorful candy creates a symphony of flavors and textures that’s simply irresistible.
How to Make Spring Pretzel M&M Bites
Begin by preheating your oven to 200 degrees and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the round pretzels on the sheet, making sure they’re evenly spaced. Then, place a chocolate baking chip on top of each pretzel – this will serve as the base for your sweet flower petals.
Pop the baking sheet into the oven and let the pretzels bake for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate chips have melted and begun to spread. While the pretzels are baking, take a moment to separate out the M&M’s by color. This little trick will save you time when it comes to assembling the flowers later on.
Once the pretzels are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately press an M&M into the center of each melted chocolate chip. This will act as the vibrant heart of your pretzel flower. Then, using a different color of M&M, gently press additional candies around the center to create the petals and leaves of the flower. Repeat this process for each pretzel until you’ve created a beautiful bouquet of edible blooms.
Allow the pretzel flowers to cool completely before indulging in their irresistible charm. The combination of crunchy pretzel, smooth chocolate, and sweet candy is sure to put a smile on your face and a spring in your step. Whether you enjoy them as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, a post-dinner treat, or a sweet surprise for someone special, these Spring Pretzel M&M Bites are guaranteed to brighten your day.
As you savor each delightful bite, take a moment to appreciate the simple joys of the season – the warmth of the sun on your face, the gentle breeze rustling through the trees, and the vibrant colors of springtime in full bloom. With a treat as cheerful and delicious as these pretzel bites, it’s easy to see why spring is a season worth celebrating.
So why wait? Gather your ingredients, preheat your oven, and let the baking begin. With just a few simple steps, you’ll be well on your way to creating a deliciously delightful treat that perfectly captures the essence of spring. Happy baking!

Did you use the large candy melts or multiple regular size chocolate chips on each pretzel? It would be nice to see how you made them starting with a bare pretzel. I need help! 🙂
Jen says
Hi Heather! I used the large candy melts. I think using regular size chocolate chips would be more difficult because the chocolate chips can fall in between the pretzel gaps 🙂
