Simple, Beautiful Scandinavian Style
I’ve always love Scandinanvian style – especially for the holidays. There’s something so beautiful about the simple, sweet style. I really grew to appreciate it when I visited Iceland and saw the local shops, towns and architecture of that country. The little towns with colorful homes, the simple patterns, the hearty food and beautiful landscapes.
I yearn for that simple, colorful way of life. I tried to recreate the feeling in the Scandinavian Snowflake Wood Plaque Ornaments that I made of our tree.
Scandinavian-inspired Joy to the World Mantel
I also brought the Scandinavian feeling in with the 3D paper trees I made for our Joy to the World mantel, as well as the embroidery hoop wreaths, the simple JOY sign and the spindle reindeer by our fireplace.
Scandinavian-inspired holiday printable tags
I wanted to create some simple Scandinavian-inspired printable tags to use on our gifts this year. I used some icons that remind me of the style – hearts, houses, trees and snowflakes. I love the simple style with the whimsical details! I used paper from my Pebbles Inc line to wrap the presents! You can buy it through Pebbles In My Pocket online!
