Thanks for your sweet comments on my Quatrefoil Stencil/Project.
I wanted to share a couple projects that people made with the stencil I shared:
Amanda from Imperfectly Beautiful made this wonderful canvas.
And Julie from My Lil’ Budget Book turned this entertainment center from this:
So cute! And here’s something really cool. Ashley from Cute as a Fox contacted me and asked if she could turn the stencil into a
Cricut SVG file. How cool is that?

I am still trying to figure my Cricut out, but Ashley says that In order to use a SVG file with your Cricut you will need a software called Sure Cuts a Lot — which allows you to cut any True Type Fonts, and shapes from your computer. You don’t have to buy cartridges anymore! You can purchase the software here. They also have a huge forum where you can download tons of images ready to cut.
Once you have the software installed, there is a button that looks like a little present and says SVG on it. You click on the button and choose your SVG file to import. Then you can size it how you need it and print it to your Cricut machine. So much easier than cutting it out.
Thanks Ashley!!!
If you want to use the Quatrefoil stencil with your Cricut — HERE is the free SVG file that Ashley created!
If you don’t have a Cricut, and want to use the regular stencil — HERE is the link.
And, if you have made something using the stencil, let me know – I would love to feature it!
XOXO
PS – I made a quatrefoil wreath — I will be sharing it next week 🙂
I can’t seem to download this great file. Please give instructions. Thank you
When I click to get the svg file I just get a very large picture of the pattern. How do I download the file? Thank you
I’m having the same problem. 🙁
I’m having the same issue. Any luck on how to download?

Hi, I haven’t used it yet but the Cricut Elegant Cakes cartridge has a pattern that is similar–it’s just one row of the pattern, though, so you would have to use Cricut Design Studio to weld it together. I am going to try doing that this weekend and I’ll update my progress.
Thank you so much for this great svg file. Look forward to using it in the future!!!
Hi – I am in LOVE with this Quatrefoil pattern. I just bought a Cricut Expression machine and I want to make a stencil of this pattern. I cannot use the file because Cricut no longer allows new users (I have found out) to use that website with all the free files. Do you know of a Cricut Cartridge with this pattern?
thanks!
For a look at what you can do with Sure-Cuts-Alot ("SCAL"), please visit my blog. I recently posted a 3D rendering of my nephew's house, all done with SCAL and a free software program called Inkscape. Everything on there was done using SCAL & my Cricut.

Yikes! I love this. Anything graphic for me. Great job, and thanks for the stencil & svg.
What?! I never knew about the Sure Cuts a Lot thingy!
I've heard about this Sure Cuts a Lot thing, and I'm intrigued. I've got a Cricut (it's in the trunk of my car right now, ready for a weekend of crafting), but I think I may investigate and invest in this other technology. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the stencil! 🙂
I LOVE all of those projects!!!
Love it! working on a quatrefoil project inspired by YOU! 🙂
will share pics and link back when it's all done!
Can't wait to see the quatrefoil wreath! By the way, thanks for visiting my blog… also LOVE the CSI Project Challenge blog… so much fun and so many great projects. Thanks to you, Amanda and Becke.
Oh I love this pattern! ive tried to cut it out myself but I can't do it.
I see you linked to the stencil but the link appears to be broken? Can you tell me where you got it?
Oooo, I LOVE this pattern. In fact, I love it so much I bought a table cloth made out of it. Check it out here {I used it at a baby shower I threw}: http://littlemissmomma.blogspot.com/2010/05/garden-baby-shower-luncheon.html
Thank you sooo much for sharing this pattern! Have I mentioned lately that this blog ROCKS!

YES…Ashley is a genius! I tried to figure out how to make it an svg file so I could cut it out on my cricut, but apparently I'm not that smart! This is exactly what I was waiting for. I love it when smart people do the hard work for me!!!

i'm thinking of making a quatrefoil tray from my coffee table. it would look awesome! thanks for sharing the stencil.
That Cricut info just made me rethink buying one. I'm gonna have to look into that. I've never considered buying Cricut because I don't like the cartridges, and I want to make my own things. Hmmmm…..this just got very interesting! Thanks Jen!
I love your blog! I left you an award on my blog!!

That entertainment center is amazing. You are such a great inspiration for people Jen. WELL DONE! hugs~ Jenn
The projects turned out great!
I've been trying to find ideas for my new coffee table. Garage sale scored for $5, so I can play around. This might be perfect. Not too girly.
