Paper Flowers are Easy to Make

Paper flowers are easy to make! I’ve made a few projects and embellished them with paper flowers. I used my Silhouette machine and it’s so easy! But if you don’t have a craft cutting machine, you can still make flowers.

Stain Your Board

JoAnn Stores has a lot of unfinished wood frames that are perfect for creating art! This one is 16 x 16 and all I did was stain it.

You Don’t Have to Have a Craft Cutting Machine to Create Paper Flowers

I used my Silhouette machine to cut out my flowers. But you can hand cut out flowers too. I shared this project on my live Instagram story last week and showed a couple of different ways to make paper flowers without a machine.

Assemble the Paper Flowers

Then I cut out four different shapes of paper flowers and hot glued them together. The nice thing about using a Silhouette machine is that you can resize the flowers bigger or smaller so you have lots of different size flowers.

Add a Spring Quote with “Thickers” Scrapbooking Letters

You can add any spring quote or saying that you want! I used scrapbook thickers to create the quote.

Cut a Large Word Out of Paper

I cut the SPRING out of scrapbook paper. I mirrored the word spring and then I cut a sheet of scrapbook paper down to an 8.5×11 size and printed the SPRING word on the back of the scrapbook paper. That way I could cut around the lines and the colored side of the scrapbook paper was on the front.
