I’m absolutely thrilled to a contributor to Tatertots & Jello this year!  Today I’m sharing one of my favorite recipes with you,  Double Mint Layered Brownies.  If you love chocolate and mint, you’ll have to try these.  Plus St. Patrick’s Day is less than a week away and with a hint of green, these decadent Double Mint Layered Brownies are a perfect St. Patrick’s Day dessert!

Here’s how to make these Double Mint Layered Brownies.
Double Mint Layered Brownies
Ingredients:
Brownie mix plus ingredients called for on the box
 {my favorite is Trader Joe’s Brownie Truffle mix- it’s amazing!}
16 Andes Creme de Menthe mini chocolate bars
1 1/2 cup Andes Creme de Menthe baking pieces
Directions:
Preheat oven & prepare brownie mix according to package.
Spread 1/2 of the prepared brownie mixture into greased baking dish.
Top with 16 Andes Creme de Menthe chocolate mini bars.
Using a rubber spatula, gently spread the remaining brownie mix over the chocolate bars.
Bake according to brownie box directions.
Immediately after removing from oven, sprinkle Andes creme de menthe baking pieces over the top.
Place baking dish in refrigerator to cool baking pieces completely before slicing
{or you could let the baking pieces melt, then swirl them on top}.
I love packaging up fun little goodies for my boys’ teachers and our neighbors, so I made decorated these cute little burlap bags to give out some of our Double Mint Layered Brownies.  For directions on how to make your own Shamrock Burlap Bags, I’d love to have you come over to my blog, Gallamore West, for a quick tutorial.
Thank you so much, Jen for having me here at Tatertots & Jello today!
