I love the simple cottage look, but the creator in me also loves COLOR! Cottage-style spring table uses bright patterned plates and a whimsical moss bunny and branches centerpiece. I love the way it turned out and the COLOR it brings to our new home!

Anchor a Spring Table with a Centerpiece

This Spring centerpiece is anchored with a moss bunny. I echoed the moss in the bunny with moss in the round spheres. I used two different sizes of spheres – 2 large spheres and 3 small spheres. Color is brought to the centerpiece through bright faux flowers sprinkled throughout and fresh lemons.

Bring Texture to the Table

I brought texture to the tablescape with raffia placemats and a textured natural and white patterned runner. The natural colors and textures blend in with the natural-looking moss and wood centerpiece.

Colorful Patterned Plates

Colorful patterned plates bring a whimsical element and bring so much color to the table. The plates are great for several different styles — farmhouse, cottage, modern and bohemian.

Layer Plates

Layering the colorful plates over simpler ruffled plates makes the table more interesting. The plates underneath are simple which makes the patterned plates POP and the edges of the plates have a colored rim which ties the plain plates to the colorful plates on top.

Coordinating Pillows

Adding pillows to the chairs or bench in a spring table makes the table seem cozier. It also echoes the color in the tablescape and pulls it all together.

Small Vases on Each Plate

Adding small vases on top of each plate setting adds the final beautiful touch. You can also add a place card to each bottle and use them as place settings if you want!
