Welcome to Salt Lake City! We’re excited to give you a quick tour of one of our favorite cities in the American West!
Salt Lake City Entertainment
Salt Lake City and Utah contain an embarrassment of riches when it comes to outdoor beauty and recreation. Enjoy the natural beauty of the outdoors in Salt Lake City with either of these breathtaking hikes. Soak in the views of Salt Lake City and the Great Salt Lake with a short 1 hour hike to Ensign Peak. Or for a longer hike, try the 6-mile City Creek Trail along a river – good for all skill levels.
If you’re traveling with the kids you’ll be sure to make wonderful memories with either of these family activities:
Visit Tracy Aviary to view hundreds of live birds, watch bird shows, take guided tours, and even hand feed some of the birds.
The Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum is a great place for the whole family to play and learn together!
For an adult evening out enjoy the Utah Museum for Contemporary Arts Founded in 1931, the Salt Lake Art Center has been the city’s hub for contemporary art for over 80 years. On display at the center are the works of both local and international artists. If you feel like dressing up and having a romantic evening out, try a show at the Capital Theatre, and make sure to check the schedule for the current events.
