I can’t believe it’s already December! Time to start thinking about gift giving for the holidays. I always think the way a gift is packaged is just as important as what is inside. I love seeing a beautiful gift sitting under the tree. This month as part of the Michaels Makers Team we were asked to share some pretty gift packaging ideas – and I’ve added some free printable holiday gift tags.
I have a slight obsession with these milk containers from Michaels. They come flat in a package, but they are easy to assemble and are so cute for so many things! I used them on my 12 Days of Christmas Tree. (Tip: fold the horizontal fold below the top before you assemble — it will make your box fold more easily and look more crisp.)
I love the way they look snuggled into the branches. And I also love that they come in all kinds of colors, patterns and sizes. All you have to do is put it together and pop your present inside.
I made some free printable gift tags and also some gift tags in candy cane shapes — specifically to use with these little containers. I know how busy this time of the year is. So this is a very simple and easy idea that looks so pretty to give to your friends and neighbors but also saves you time.
You can add anything inside. I plan on making these Double Chocolate Cookies and giving them out this year.
I added a few different ribbons to dress them up. So easy and fast!
I added some of the Scallop Glitter Tape from my Home+Made line to this craft milk container. I think it looks so pretty!

I do not think it is insult to Christians, not mentioning Christmas. It is an all inclusive way to celebrate the season. I buy all of my holiday cards that way. People of all faiths can enjoy this most beautiful time of the year. The vast majority of people enjoy the hustle-bustle of shopping, crafting, cooking, parties and special events, The most important thing is getting together with family and friends. LOVE ONE ANOTHER! Happy Holidays
