Bringing sliding barn doors inside the home is a fun way to add instant character and charm. The look of sliding doors can range from a salvaged cottage-look to a more clean and modern style.

Would LOVE to do this on open play room! What is a ball-park price that we can expect for the hanging track hardware? Thanks!

WOW this is fabulous! I love it! I love watching all the DIY shows on TV…but when it comes to my space I have cold feet and am afraid I will screw something up more or really damage something…how do i get over this fear?! I have ALOT to renovate in my home and it is all so overwhelming!

I've been visiting her blog and love it. Barn doors make me swoon but we do not have enough wall space to have any. We are all windows and doorways here.
My favorite is the first one from Crown Industrial.

Ok.. Love the barn doors ..which is a good thing since we have two of them in our house!
But I am here for my pressing matters. I am totally lost on the whole burlap thing. the only burlap we can get around here is way itchy scratchy and it smells to high heaven.. I can never imagine using it for anything that I would want to sit on. I have seen other loose weave fabrics like hopsack and Onsburg that look somewhat like burlap but are more user friendly… are tehse being used and called burlap?… label me confused!

OMG Jennifer! You are amazing! I about fell off (and peed on) my newly reupholstered chair. Holy moly! You spent so much time adding my feature to your blog. When do you sleep?! It was "all that and a bag of glue sticks!" You are so great at what you do and at getting so much valuable information from the web out to your readers. Amazing as always. Can't wait to meet your readers. xox Sarah

oh my gosh her pictures are gorgeous. my hubby's a builder too and he just installed 4 sets of sliding barn doors that he had to built from reclaimed wood {another option}. Two went way up on a second story opening that was so tricky but look amazing. i've been wanting one in my bathroom for some time now. i'm off to check out this blog. so excited. thanks for sharing!
