Hi Everyone!
I’m so excited to be a guest poster for Jen, I promise I will try not to mess up!
Thank you Jen for allowing me to soil your perfectly crafty blog be a guest poster today.
First, you all have to know that I’m not a crafty blog. I’m jealous of crafty blogs. I do posts once in a while about crafts that I’ve done because I’m so darn proud of myself. Pathetic? Yes. I know. I just wanted you to know this so that you don’t click over and read and then say, “Impostor! Where’s the crafts?” However, please do come visit me!
Onto the craft and the inspiration behind it.
One thing I’ve gotten addicted to since having my 2 little boys is picture taking. Thousands and thousands of pictures.
I love to display pictures that I take of my kids and random shots of cuteness. I especially love the perfect snapshot. You know the one….you take a picture and you don’t think it’s gonna be a good one until you get it on the computer and realize you’ve gotten the elusive money shot.
But, alas, I’m lazy. I don’t like changing the pictures out of frames. Who has time to take the frame down, undo the latches, clean the glass, put the picture in and replace everything with two little monkeys dancing around your feet? Not me. That sounds like I’ve brought laziness to a whole ‘nother level, no?
Then, if you’re like me, you realize you wanted the edge painted black and you got ahead of yourself. So you get the black paint out and paint the edge.
If you would like to see more examples of my Scrappy Canvas “Frame”, hop over to my brand spankin’ new Etsy shop to take a peek!

I love this! I rarely change out pictures. Instead, I buy more frames, and now they're over-taking the house! 🙂

I was just thinking how much I hate my picture wall with all it's mismatched frames collected over 30 years. What an awesome idea for me to steal, err, borrow! Thanks Mimi!

What a great idea! How true, too, when your kids are little there is always that next picture. I think this is a great {and quick} idea that allows you to add the current picture for viewing.

What a great idea! I am so lazy about changing out my pictures too! I don't have very many of my youngest in frames, because they were all filled up before he was born:)
