I love black and white for Valentine’s Day. And the lanterns from Ikea are so cute, affordable and accessible. So here is an easy way to decorate a shelf or mantel. It also makes a fun gift! 10 Minute Valentine Centerpiece Idea!
Here’s how to make this 10-Minute Valentine Lantern Centerpiece:
All you have to do is take an Ikea lantern, cut out four hearts with your craft cutting machine. If you don’t have a craft cutter, you can punch out hearts in vinyl with a punch or even trace hearts on vinyl and cut the vinyl out with scissors. So easy! Attach the vinyl hearts to the glass on the lantern. Then add a candle. This striped candle is from Michaels.
It makes a cute focal point for a shelf or mantel. It also is a striking centerpiece on a table. And it would be so cute on a porch or as a Valentine gift for a teacher or friend in your life!
And stay tuned – tomorrow I am sharing some matching easy 10 minute pillows!!
