{{{Happy Valentine’s Day}}}
Hello Tatertots and jello readers – Jen here from CraftOManiac and I am soooo tickled to be here on TT&J today.
Today I am sharing with you guys my
“DIY Tic-Tac-Toe game board”
You can play it with your two favorite treats anytime of the year and the winner gets to eat his/or her treats! Just don’t play to many rounds you may get a tummy ache. winks. If you don’t want to play with treats you can use cut out x and o’s or something else you have in mind.
All the supplies needed for this project I got at Michael’s.
Here is what I did:
- I started by painting my board first with acrylic paint in “Patina” as well as the wood round ball feet.
- Then I let them all dry fully.
- Once all is dried, I used 600 grit sand paper and sanded the top of the board real well, giving it a nice smooth surface.
- I sanded all sides of the board and the feet to give it a bit of a worn look as well.
- I then used my polka dot tape and tapped down my tic tac toe board.
- Then I sealed the tape with some matte mod podge.
- Lastly, I hot glued on the feet. DONE!
{{Super fun}} [Super easy] and your kids will {{SUPER love it.}}
Thanks jen for letting me share my project here today, and for being one of you Contributors. Its always a pleasure to visit TT&J!
