Treats, Froyo, Win $300 and a fun Girl’s Night Out Event!!

 SassyScoops is a group of 8 mom-bloggers who spread the word about local Utah businesses. And guess what? I’m now a SassyScoops girl!! It’s a chance to for me to support neighborhood businesses, have a girl’s night out each month AND share some great new places! {And since my husband travels so much for work, it’s nice to get out of the house once in a while}

So once a month I will recap what we’ve been doing. PLUS, share the giveaways going on at SassyScoops. And, even if you aren’t local to Salt Lake, there’s always a chance that you could be passing through my great state in the future and you might want to know the hot spots to hit on your way through!! 

Utah Kernels
The first place we visited was  Utah Kernels, an amazing popcorn maker. They supply packaged popcorn to places like Tai Pan and even as far as Vegas, baby!! We got to sample the flavors. Boy, were they good! My favorite was the Salt and Vinegar.

And they also do custom orders for weddings and really cool gift baskets!!

Blickenstaff’s & a GIVEAWAY
The next place on our agenda was Blickenstaff’s — a fabulous toy and candy store in the Riverwoods shopping center (Provo, Utah).This is a place that will take you back to your childhood, no matter what your age. I loved their selection of unique toys, AND you must check out their candy selection! They have old-fashioned candy from the 1930’s all the way through today. So much fun!!

ShayBee’s boutique & a GIVEAWAY!
The last stop on our fun girl’s night out was ShayBee’s — a boutique tucked away on Main Street in Springville. I fell in love with the authentic painted wall that used to be on the outside. It is so cool! There are so many fabulous gifts at ShayBee’s — something for anyone on your list. The prices are excellent. And the owners are so friendly and sweet!! Plus, once a month they have a craft night with a different project. All you have to do is show up and you come home with an adorable item for your home!!!
