Free LOVE Valentine’s Day Glitter Gold Banner

It just doesn’t seem possible that Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away. Seems like just a few days ago I was taking down my Christmas decor…well, to be fair that actually was just a few days ago. Anyway, I wanted to add a little bit of festive color to my decor this year and I have a cute coordinating freebie just for you!

Just Print and Cut Out

I have been loving the digital gold glitter (all the sparkle, none of the mess!) so I decided to glam up my Valentine’s printables. It’s really easy to put together your banner. First of course you’ll have to decide which parts to use. There are four letters to spell out “LOVE” plus two decorative accents that you can use in place of the “O” or on the ends of the banner to some charm. Then print out the pages (there are three all together) and cut out the pieces. I recommend printing on cardstock, and for the best and brightest color, have your banner printed at a copy store. Use ribbon or string to tie the banner together, or just use a little hot glue or even double sided tape to attach the string to the banner.

Three Ingredient Challenge

I’ve teamed up with some creative blogging friends to create a Valentine’s Day idea using three basic ingredients — paper, ribbon and washi tape.

We all came up with our own take on the challenge and I LOVE all of the different ideas!

Simple Valentine’s Day Gifts

I host a little dinner for my kids each Valentine’s Day! We eat food they like — pizza or curry and spend time together! It’s one of my favorite things to do. I always set a cute table and have a little favor on their plate. This year I created a simple gift with colorful paper. The paper is from Pebbles new Valentine’s Day line. I used some paper with pretty foil on it. And they have a fun llama paper – my daughter loves lambs and llamas so I used that paper for her gift!

Printable Typewriter Sentiment Sayings

I thought it would be fun to add a little saying to the front of each bag. I created a simple typewriter printable sentiment sheet with easy valentine’s day words and sayings.

Large and Small Typewriter Printable Sentiment Sizes

I created two different sizes of fonts for the printable sentiment sheets. Depending on the size of the gift you are giving you can print off the large OR the small sheets.

Create Simple Paper Bag Gifts

Supplies:

Scrapbook Paper

Small Gift Bags or Boxes

Ribbon

Washi Tape

Adhesive

Printable Typewriter Saying Sheet (you can grab them by right-clicking on the links at the bottom of the page)

Tissue Paper

Directions:

1. Trim the scrapbook paper to the size of the front of your bags or boxes
2. Use adhesive to attach the paper to the front of the bags of boxes
3. Cut out the printable typewriter sayings you want to use.
4. Use washi tape to attach the sayings onto the front of your gifts.
5. Tie some ribbon around the box or the handles of the gift bags.
6. Add some tissue paper to your bags.

It’s so easy to create simple Valentine’s Day gifts!

One of my favorite printables is the Valentine’s Day Kissing Booth Banner that I shared a few years ago. Printables make decorating for holidays SO easy!!

Kissing Booth Free Printable Valentine;s Day Banner 

All you have to do is download the file, print it out and hang it up! It doesn’t cost anything but ink and paper. I also love sending my printables to Costco where they can be printed out HUGE! It really makes an impact and it is so inexpensive. You can send an image to Costco and have a big version printed out for just a few dollars!

Here is a printable that can go along with the Kissing Booth theme. It’s a vintage Kissing Booth Poster and you can print it out at home or send it to Costco or CVS or Walgreens to be printed larger.

Valentine’s Day Free Printable Vintage Kissing Booth Poster!

This one’s a little trickier than some of the other ones, so bear with me while I explain. There are two sizes for two different kinds of printing.

The 11×14-inch size is made specifically for printing at Costco (or your other local photo poster printing shop).

At Costco.com, you can just upload the 11×14 image and then choose the 11×14 size. These are only in JPG format since that’s what Costco requires (not PDF).

The 11×17 is made for printing at FedEx Office (Kinko’s) or another copy shop — 11×17 is a standard size for commercial copiers (twice an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet).  So I have that in both JPG and PDF for your downloading pleasure.

Somehow these feathery pens made their way into Aimée’s shopping cart, and she designed the most adorable class valentine to go with them. Bettijo’s daughters went wild over these, so we’re pretty sure they will be a hit with your girls too.

This free template is available in the color version shown but also in black and white for those who prefer their feather pens to be more in the style of Elle Woods than Fancy Nancy.

TO MAKE: Download our free printable Fancy Valentine Template and print in color on white cardstock. Cut out each card and have your child sign her name. Using a craft knife, cut two, 3/4-inch slits. Slip a feather pen through, and you’re ready to give.

As I said in my last post, when I was at Target a couple of weeks ago I spotted little gifts that I thought would make awesome Valentine gift ideas.

So I made some free valentine printable to go with them! (my techy husband helped me – he’s so sweet!) I’ll be sharing them throughout the day today

Here’s the second set — more appropriate for boys, too, than the “beautiful” ones!

The first idea would be great for someone that loves sports. It’s “I Aim To Make You My Valentine” and you can pair it with a ball or game. I thought it was so cute with these waterballoons. A funny little gift.

I love a good deal. And when I was at Target a couple of weeks ago I spotted some $1 items that I thought would make awesome Valentine gift ideas. So I made some printables to go with them! (my techy husband helped me – he’s so sweet!) I’ll be sharing them throughout the day today

This printable would be fun for a Teen or Tween too. I found these clear bags in the dollar section. They are the perfect size to use as a little wallet or makeup bag in a purse. And we added some little icons at the top. You could pair the one with the ring with nail polish and some treats for the perfect Valentine pick-me-up. There’s also one with a lip icon and you could put a tube of lip gloss with that one.
