Hello tatertots & jello FANS! jen here from CraftOManiac.{EEK} I AM SO STOKED to be visiting here on Jen’s lovely blog today. She is to darn sweet to allow me to share with you my “EEK” blocks. I love jen so much.
Here’s what I did to make them:
In the collage you can see basic step by step instructions.
- I purchased the wood blocks and other wood pieces at Roberts Crafts.
- I started with painting the blocks with white acrylic paint.
- Then using my Cricut and my Platinum Schoolbook cartridge I cut out the letters out.
- I placed the vinyl letters on the blocks and then painted over the vinyl with charcoal acrylic paint and a little white paint mixed in.
- I then removed the vinyl and sanded the blocks and the toppers as well.
- I finally painted, sanded, and hot glued on two round wood balls to the base of the larger “E”.
This was a super easy project approx. 45 minutes or so.
THERE YOU HAVE IT. I just love Halloween, and love to craft for it as well. I would sure love for you all to come visit me on COM. Thank you again jen, you are truly the best. winks-jen
