While I had a great time yesterday at the cookie exchange,
I, like most of us, have had the tragic events in Connecticut (and other places around the world)
weighing heavily on our minds.
I hugged my little family a little tighter,
and I found joy in the beauty of the projects I looked through this weekend.
In fact, that’s what I love about this DIY/decorating/craft community:
we are all trying to bring joy and beauty to the world
and to share it with each other.
Here are some projects that lifted my spirits
this weekend.
Thank you for sharing them with me — and all of us.
Our hearts are with those families that are suffering. If you would like to donate, The United Way has set up a fund to help the families and community of Sandy Hook/Newtown, CT.
And please keep sharing JOY with the world.
