I’m Julie from Less-Than-Perfect Life of Bliss & I’m happy to be here today to show you how to make Dad some
Stamped Initial Cuff Links for Father’s Day!
Even beginner crafters can do this project in less than 20 minutes, & when you’re done, you’ll have a great personalized gift that will really show Dad how much you love him!
You’ll need:
- a few scraps of light-colored fabric ( I chose beige linen),
- some bezel cuff links (found where jewelry making supplies are sold)
- a small covered button kit
- some mini alphabet stamps
- ink pad
- some strong adhesive such as E-6000.
Start by cutting the fabric in two small squares, approximately 1 inch X 1 inch each.
Next, stamp Dad’s initials onto the fabric.
Follow the instructions for making the covered button, being careful to keep the stamped initial centered on the front of the button.
Then use the point of a pair of pliers or other tool to bend the shank of the button over & allow the button to lie flat.
Now you’re ready to attach the buttons to the cuff links! Using E-6000 or another strong adhesive, carefully glue the buttons into the bezels of the cuff links. That’s it! A super-easy project that’s a lot of fun as well!
And Dad’s favorite part will be knowing that you made them especially for him!

What a great project. My husband wore cufflinks daily for many years and then…they made his work wardrobe casual. No more suits and French cuff shirts. He has a large cufflink collection and so rarely wears them now,

How fun are those! I've done covered buttons before but never thought to turn them into cuff links! That green dresser is amazing too!
