2nd Annual TT&J Cookie Exchange Party (and Holiday Cookie recipe link up)!!

Tatertots & Jello is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

Thanks to everyone to came to the 2nd annual TT&J Cookie Exchange Party!!

It was so much fun. I had a wonderful time meeting new friends! And those cookies —- wow!!! Every single cookie was different, delicious and so so pretty!!

{Thanks Lara @ Announced Design for the cute invite!!}

I love cookie exchanges — it’s a festive excuse for a party PLUS you come away with so many different varieties of cookies. I freeze some of mine, and then bring them out when I have a party to go to, or guests over during the Holiday Season!!

This year we had over 45+ people come to the party!! It was hard to keep track of everyone because it was an open house-style event and I wanted to keep it open to as many people as possible, so you didn’t have to bring cookies to be able to come. I did get one big group shot with most of the people (above).

And I loved seeing the cute cute babies and toddlers that came too. I miss having babies.

And a big THANK YOU to Scentsy for providing the Goodie Bag gifts. They were SO generous and sent warmers and yummy scents for all of the attendees.

PLUS, they gave away TWO of their Scentsy Cause Buddy Bears.

And I love what these bears do — they are a snuggly bear with a little inside pouch where you can put a Scentsy fragrance — and all proceeds from the sale of these animals go to Ronald McDonald House Charities® to improve the health and well-being of children all over the world. Scentsy will donate 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this Buddy directly to the organization. Awesome!!!

I also had the opportunity to give away THREE gift baskets with some adorable striped paper bags from Sweets & Treats Boutique — one of my favorite sponsors.

And a big thank you to Amy @ Living Locurto!! I used her Cookie Swap Printables and free Snowman Printables for the party. Amy has the amazing printables – be sure to check out her blog!!

I made Cherry Chocolate Shortbread Cookies. Here’s the recipe via BHG :

There were over 40 varieties of cookies brought to the party (there were so many that we had to have them in two different rooms – lol).

And I was originally going to post all of the recipes — but I decided that would be a LONG post, so I am adding a linky of cookie recipes to this post.

PLUS, if you weren’t able to attend, but have a wonderful cookie recipe, link it up here and SHARE it!!

I am excited to see the recipes that are linked up!!

And, Scentsy is giving away a warmer of ANY size, plus THREE Scents — check out the giveaway to win 🙂

Happy Holidays!!!

xoxo

So fun that so many of you awesome ladies live so close to each other! Some of my favorite bloggers! Looks like a fabulous party! 🙂 If you get a chance to share sometime, I would love to know how you worked the logistics (i.e. how many cookies guests brought & went home with).

      Hi Sara!!

I wasn’t very mathematical about how many cookies of each kind everyone was able to take home. I just told everyone that they could leave with the same amount of cookies they came with. And it seemed to work out ok.

It was a really fun party. I just love this tradition. Merry Christmas my friend!!

Thanks for such a fun get together, Jen! And for letting me bring my kids! Your house is even more gorgeous in person, and it was fun to get together with so many fun people. I’m ashamed to admit that all of our cookies were gone by the weekend. (Yeah, who thought going to a cookie exchange while trying to lose baby weight was a good idea?)
