I use to do New Years eve when our family was small. I would cook salmon and some times take the whole family out to dinner. As it grew and we have around 22 at some times, I just can’t do that any more. As for decorating all up like a party, I have never done that for New Years. I go from Christmas to a little winter, but I don’t do a winter wonder land either. I like to get back to normal and Valentine’s comes soon enough. Then Easter. In fact I don’t know any one that decorates for New Years, in our family. Not saying people don’t decorate for holidays, just never seen anyone do New Years. After the cost of Christmas, then turn around and decorate again….wears me down just thinking about it. LOL.
However, if I did I would do some of the things you have posted. Thanks for sharing.
