Woodland Christmas Tree Wreath & Blog Hop!

There’s nothing I like more than creating a new wreath for each holiday. I guess I’m just a wreath girl LOL. Last year I was all about gold and glitter. This year I thought it would be fun to create a more rustic, colorful wreath with natural elements for the holidays!

There’s something so beautiful about natural wood.

And I’ll share links to all of these beautiful wreaths — so you can get inspired for the holidays!

15 New and Amazing Christmas Wreaths

Here’s how I made this Woodland Christmas Tree Wreath:

  • I wrapped a wreath form with burlap ribbon.
  • Then I hot glued wood slices onto the front of the wreath. You can cut up a piece of wood or you can buy bags of wood slices at your craft store. I have seen them in both Hobby Lobby and Michaels.
  • Then I cut out a piece of cardstock in a triangle shape and hot glued felted wool balls onto the front. You can hand-make felted balls, or buy them at your craft store.
  • At the bottom of the tree, I hot glued a couple wood slices to look like a trunk.
  • And then I glued a piece of ribbon to the side and glued it onto the top, inside of the wreath.
  • The final thing I did was I made a bow out of the burlap ribbon and a few other colors that coordinated with the felted balls.

I love the way it turned out. The textures of the burlap, wood and wool are so natural and pretty together!!

AND, be sure to check out the AMAZING wreaths that these amazing bloggers are sharing today. I am so grateful to be included. So pretty!
