{styled} By Tori Spelling — Make Jewelry in Three Easy Steps!

In January I was able to go to the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) show and see some of the newest craft products and trends for 2012. One of the highlights was meeting Tori Spelling and learning about her new  {styled} by Tori Spelling line of DIY custom jewelry creations.

I was really impressed with how genuine Tori is. After the show I checked out Tori’s EdiTORIal blog — she has a real love of being creative.

There are so many things I love about the new {styled} by Tori Spelling line.

  • First, it’s affordable.
  • Second, it’s easily accessible — available at the major craft and hobby stores like Michael’s and JoAnn’s.
  • The third thing is that you can easily switch out all of the pieces of the collection — the possibilities are endless.
  • And fourth, the fact that you don’t need any tools to make these stylish pieces.

There are FOUR FUN collections in the {styled} by Tori line–  Glitz, Glam, Boho, and Noir.

I can’t decide which collection I love the most.

The thing I love most about the collection is that you can mix and match pieces from all of the different collections to make YOUR own look!!

It was so exciting to get a package in the mail the other day full of {Styled} By Tori Spelling pieces. My girls and I had such an awesome time mixing and matching items to create all kinds of jewelry combinations.

Hannah loved the Boho collection most.

And I love that you can make a new necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings in just 5 minutes!

There are three easy steps:

You just select a Necklace Top, a Necklace Bottom and a connector.

You can also add a pin or brooch to your creation. And another thing I love about the brooches/pins is that they have connectors to connect them to the necklaces, but they also have pins so you can use them alone on a jacket or purse. And everything is easy to to change and switch up!!

Step 1: Clip the jump-ring from one side of the necklace top to the jump-ring on the necklace bottom.

Step 2: Repeat for the other side.

Step 3: (optional) Add a pendant to customize the look.

And in less than 5 minutes you can have a necklace that is ready to wear!

I made a necklace with the Glam collection:

I also attached a pendant to the side of the necklace

And the connectors are so easy to use. They have a hinged section that folds in when you press on it, so all you need to do is slip the rings inside and your necklace is ready to wear!

My daughter even made a necklace to wear to the prom from this line. I will share that soon.

Plus, I will be hosting some fun {styled} by Tori Spelling giveaways too — so YOU can try out the new lines.

FUN!!!

You can find the {styled} by Tori Spelling line in stores now at major craft retailers and online. For lots of style inspiration, news and information on the new line —  follow along with Styled by Tori Spelling on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!!

xoxo

Have a Wonderful Day!!

PS — It’s FRIDAY!!

My favorite day of the week.

It’s time for YOU to show off YOUR ideas!!

The party starts tonight at 6 pm MST.

I love this line! Do you have any suggestions for a good tutorial on how to make fabric flower necklaces? I have some scrap fabric and I want to make a statement necklace. Any ideas?
