S’mores In a Jar with a Free Printable!!

Hey there! I’m Jessica from Lulu & Linen… a little place where you can find some creative ways to put a custom stamp on your home, printables to make others smile, a {very favorite} chalkboard wall that changes with the seasons and recipes that are sure to be crowd pleasers. So excited to be sharing a tasty lil’ summer recipe with you today on Tatertots and Jello.

Summer in one word. S’mores. You say it and it takes you back to your younger years sitting around a campfire and roasting your marshmallows to perfection. The only thing I don’t love? The mess. Fun until the mama has to clean up all the sticky fingers.

Maybe you don’t have the campfire, but you can still have the s’mores albeit without the mess. Throw out the s’mores sticks and bring out the mason jars, a personal favorite, and you have yourself a little slice of heaven. But for the sake of pleasing others, lets call it S’mores in a Jar. Um, can you say yum?

{s’mores in a jar.}
adapted from the campfire favorite and a cake recipe of paula deen.
serves six.

  7. So 6 squares of bittersweet chocolate and 2 squares of semi-sweet are both equal to an ounce? If that’s the case, and it’s equal parts bitter and semi, I would take out the “squares” measurement altogether as that makes it a little confusing. These definitely look yummy though! I’m such a sucker for anything s’mores!

  8. Can this recipe for Smores in a Jar be adapted to a make ahead kind of treat? Thanks

  9. What a cool idea! It might not be as easy as campfire s’mores but looks totally worth the effort!
