Welcome to the Weekend Wrap Up Party!!
This week’s giveaway is one of my favorite camera accessories – a Lightscoop Deluxe!
We’ve all been there – we’re trying to take the perfect picture of one of our kids, a craft project, or even the family dog and you just can’t get the lighting to come out right. Natural lighting is such an important part of photography, and Lightscoop makes it much easier to achieve.
Lightscoop redistributes light in your photos to create a healthy glow around whatever you’re taking a picture of, regardless of the room’s lighting.
This week I’m giving away a Lightscoop Deluxe – find out how to win and link up your projects after the break:
A few years ago, I discovered the original Lightscoop, and I was so happy I did!
As I said back then,
natural light is a must for a good picture, but a flash is a disaster for good photography!
Here’s my example from back then:
See how Lightscoop redistributes the flash to create a natural, even glow around the subject? I love it!
With the Lightscoop Deluxe you can also buy different mirror colors to create different types of glow in your pictures.
I like the new Lightscoop Deluxe, even more than my original Lightscoop — and here’s why: I can tilt the mirror to work even when I take a vertical picture. When I turn the camera on its side, I can tilt the Lightscoop Deluxe to bounce the flash off the ceiling, or wherever I want. (The original Lightscoop remains fixed in place.)
I love my Lightscoop – it makes lighting so much easier to figure out and helps me create the even lighting you can see in my pictures taken at night or indoors.
Here’s how to win the Lightscoop Deluxe:
Don’t forget to link up your projects — I’ve got two Great Ideas posts coming this weekend from your projects!!

Please visit and comment on TWO linkups above you and TWO linkups below you — in addition to any others that you want to visit. {We all love comments!}
Have fun!!!
I can’t wait to see YOUR ideas and feature YOU!!
For my blog that I plan to start next month( fingers crossed!!!!)
I would use it to take better pictures of my daughter and craft projects.
I would use the ceiling bounce to take even more pics of my kids.
I’d use the lightscoop for my snapping up pics of my kiddos!
I could use a light scoop to photograph my black dogs. They usually have glowing eyes or you can’t see them at all!
I would use it for pictures of my babies – who are easier to corral inside!
This would be great inside the house….the kitties are always doing something cute and the photos don’t always come out well 🙁
Thank you so much for hosting Jen, Happy Easter!!
xo, Tanya
I take a lot of pictures indoors with out long winter months in SD! I would love to use this taking pictures of what my family and dogs are doing inside the house, or possibly the occasional fish shack pictures!!
I would use it for nighttime family activity pics, but more often for craft photos at night!
My photos on my blog are just sad. I bought a nice camera, but I just can’t get the lighting right on them. The lightscoop looks like it might help!
Jenny
thanks for hosting ! Have a wonderful Easter !

I would use this for indoor photography when I can’t get good light.

I would use lightscoop to get better quality photos at my rehearsal dinner.
I’d use it to take family photos – I liked the Lightscoop tip about standing on a chair – more flattering for your family’s pictures ! Thanks!
Thanks for hosting. Great giveaway. As a novice photographer, I am having a hard time figuring out lighting especially when it comes to food pictures for my blog. I think the Lightscoop could help! Wishing you and your family a Happy Easter.
I need one of those Lightscopes, what a brilliant idea! Would definitely free up where I take photos and I wouldn’t have to hope the sun was out just for good lighting.
What a great idea! I love the idea of switching out the colored mirrors!
This looks like a great tool!
Thanks for the great party, Jen! I hope you have a very Happy Easter!
I’d like to use lightoscoop taking pics of the clothes I made and show on my blog!

Thanks so much for the FAB party Jen! Have a wonderful week! xo
I’d like a Lightscoop to improve the photos of big things, like large DIY projects, in my dark house. No matter how many lights we have on, the photos still seem dingy!
I would love the lightscoop to improve all of my indoor pictures. Especially pics of my kids and of my blogging projects.
Thank you for hosting another great party 🙂 Happy Easter!

I’ve been looking into getting a Lightscoop! I need one for when the light isn’t very good (I have a Western-facing apartment) and the kids are napping; I could get so many more photos taken for my blog if I had one!
I would use my Lightscoop to take better pictures for my blog. My house has horrendous lighting!

I’ve wanted one of these for the longest time! I would use it to take photos indoors in the evening when there is no natural light. My indoor photos always have a yellowish tint and/or harsh shadows because I have to use the camera flash. Indoor photos would be soooo much better if I had a Lightscoop!
This has got to be the hottest ticket in town on a Friday night! Thanks for hosting week after week and providing an awesome place to link up:)
XO,
Christy
I would LOVE to try a lightscoop!!! It would be SO nice to be able to bounce the flash with it!
