Weekend Wrap Up Party — and Lightscoop Deluxe Giveaway!!

Tatertots & Jello is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

Welcome to the Weekend Wrap Up Party!!

This week’s giveaway is one of my favorite camera accessories – a Lightscoop Deluxe!

We’ve all been there – we’re trying to take the perfect picture of one of our kids, a craft project, or even the family dog and you just can’t get the lighting to come out right. Natural lighting is such an important part of photography, and Lightscoop makes it much easier to achieve.

Lightscoop redistributes light in your photos to create a healthy glow around whatever you’re taking a picture of, regardless of the room’s lighting.

This week I’m giving away a Lightscoop Deluxe – find out how to win and link up your projects after the break:

A few years ago, I discovered the original Lightscoop, and I was so happy I did!

As I said back then,

natural light is a must for a good picture, but a flash is a disaster for good photography!

Here’s my example from back then:

Without Flash                 With Flash                           With Lightscoop!
The Lightscoop fits on your camera’s “hot shoe” – the flash attachment at the top – to redirect the flash onto the ceiling, providing indirect light instead of harsh direct light.

See how Lightscoop redistributes the flash to create a natural, even glow around the subject? I love it!

With the Lightscoop Deluxe you can also buy different mirror colors to create different types of glow in your pictures.

I like the new Lightscoop Deluxe, even more than my original Lightscoop — and here’s why: I can tilt the mirror to work even when I take a vertical picture. When I turn the camera on its side, I can tilt the Lightscoop Deluxe to bounce the flash off the ceiling, or wherever I want. (The original Lightscoop remains fixed in place.)

I love my Lightscoop – it makes lighting so much easier to figure out and helps me create the even lighting you can see in my pictures taken at night or indoors.

Here’s how to win the Lightscoop Deluxe:

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I’ve wanted one of these for the longest time! I would use it to take photos indoors in the evening when there is no natural light. My indoor photos always have a yellowish tint and/or harsh shadows because I have to use the camera flash. Indoor photos would be soooo much better if I had a Lightscoop!
