Weekend Wrap Up Party — and Shailie Starter Set Giveaway!!

It’s Friday!!

Welcome to the Weekend Wrap Up Party!!

This week’s giveaway is the fabulous DIY dress-up/fashion designing Kit, Shailie!!

Shailie® was born offering sleeves, skirts, tops, and accessories of various styles, colors, and lengths. Girls can mix and match to create endless looks on their very own life size designer dress form making their creation a cinch to wear and model with friends.

I knew my daughter Ella who is 7 would love this, what I was surprised about was that my other daughter Hannah, who is 13 was even more excited. Hannah loved making the creations and then she had Ella model them. So fun!!

This week, we’re giving away a Shailie Starter Set, including a pink & white polka dot dress form, a base dress, a Starter Dress, and a Shailie Closet!!

Find out how to win (and link up) after the break:

How it works is you take the special Shailie undergarments which have velcro strips on them and then you can attach different fashion pieces to those strips. There are so many different combinations possible. It really does let kids play fashion designer!

Shailie has won all kinds of awards- it’s really one of the best imaginative toys you can get for your kids.

There are tons of adorable add-ons you can get as well, creating even more possibilities.

Shailie is really a blast to just have fun and create with!

Here’s how you can win:

  5. […] 2 tsp milk Instructions For the crust, mix ingredients together until fully combined. Dough will be sticky. On a large parchment paper lined baking sheet, shape dough into a 13inch by 4inch rectangle. (will be thin, try to make even thickness). In a small saucepan, heat water with butter until it boils. Remove from heat and bean in flour. Add eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Mixture will be paste-ish, it’s perfect. Lay sliced apples over first layer of crust. Then pour (drop) second layer of “filling” over the apples. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes. Remove and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Slide parchment paper onto cooling rack and continue to cool completely. For the frosting, beat butter with vanilla, cinnamon, milk and powdered sugar until desired consistency. Frost kringle while slightly warm (NOT HOT). Let set about 20 minutes. ENJOY. 8. […] If you decide to use glassware or something else that will need to be cleaned frequently, they will need to be sealed. I sprayed the cups with an acrylic clear coat. I have since run them through the dishwasher and they seem to be holding up fine. This is such an easy DIY and would look great on candle holders, vases, or would even be a pretty update for an old outdoor lantern!
