    I’d love to upgrade my Silhouette SD! I was crushed when, just a few months after I bough the SD, they came out with the Cameo. I absolutely would have waited to buy the spiffier version. Every time I see a project made with the Cameo that isn’t quite the same as the SD, I sigh… I love the creative options I have, but I’m hungry for more!!

    Thanks so much for sponsoring this Jen! I want to win this because it is SO INCREDIBLY COOL! I have been salivating over these things since they came out. I love that you can cut paper or vinyl (and probably way more stuff than that). I love that you can add rhinestones to clothes! I love that it cuts a full 12″ x 12″ sheet of paper. I think that it is amazing that you don’t need any cartridges.

    BUT BEYOND ALL THOSE amazing reasons I want to win it because I have THREE AMAZING tween daughters who love to craft with me (I have 2 toddlers boys who have yet to show an interest in crafting but I’m not giving up hope). We would have so much fun discovering it together. My eldest turns 13 in May and I know that our days together are numbered.     What wouldn’t I do with a Silhouette?! There are so many things on my To Do list but they’d take forever without a Silhouette and some just aren’t even possible. I bought a used Silhouette SD and I’ve used it a few times but I am more limited because the size of paper the machine accepts and because most of the supplies I have access to in my local stores are for the Cameo. Also most of the newer tutorials and projects posted use the Cameo. Basically I am really wanting the upgrade!

    I’ve been wanting a cutting machine for a while and love to craft. I have been crafting with the seniors at my community center and they havve a hard time cutting out intricately detailed things.     Because when this school year ends I will officially retire home schooling my children. I have been a home school mom for 18 straight years, teaching each of my five children until they go to high school. I am saddened that this time is over, but also excited to be able to have time to pursue my love of crafting, sewing, decorating, and the possibility of peeing uninterupted.
