I’m Trish from Two Peas in a Pod Homegrown Designs.
Two Peas in a Pod – that would be my sweet identical twin girls. Homegrown – that’s all about my husband, he’s the gardener and he makes sure that our backyard is full of fabulous garden goodness all season long. Designs – well, that’s my contribution. I design sewing patterns and I love the whole creative process.
Sprouts – not to leave anyone out, that’s the name of my sewing pattern line and Sprout is our newest addition to the garden, our third baby girl.
My mother always said I should pursue an art career. But I had other aspirations and now, I’m realizing my Mother was right (please don’t tell her I said that!). Honestly, art is what keeps me passionate about most everything in my life. I love being able to share that with my own children and watching their own creativity come to life.
It’s the same thing with my sewing patterns. Watching the creativity of others as they use my patterns is a sheer joy. I blog over here about my sewing adventures and coming this June, I’ll be sharing more sewing fun on the new PBS show, It’s Sew Easy.
