I am so excited to be here today! I am the Bobbie the author of A Vision to Remember I also have my own etsy shop, where I sell many of my creations. I am a stay at home mom of 2 awesome girls and one sweet and loving dog. They are my inspiration for sure. Everything that I have made has been for them in some way.
Here are a couple of things that I have made over at my blog:
This was a fun pleated headband that I made for myself (one of the few times that I craft for myself, if you know what I mean 🙂
I also made this fun Ribbon skirt for my daughter (Part 1, Part 2)
I also have many other tutorials on my blog. Make sure to stop by and check them out.
I also have my own Etsy shop. There I sell rag quilts, car seat tents, and lots of patterns. Some of the patterns I sell are rag quilts, belly band, and fabric flowers.
As you all are figuring out…I love to make rag quilts. They are really quick, they are really forgiving, and they are BEA-U-TIL-FUL.
I have had this pattern in my mind for a long time now. You know all those adorable purses with the huge ruffle flowers on them…they got me to thinking about a blanket that I could make using that same idea…
This is a really fun Ruffled Flower FREE Rag Quilt Pattern. It is my way of thanking you all for following me on this journey of mine.
I did not do this pattern as a tutorial like I have done in the past, but did it the same as the patterns that I sell in my shop
Let me know how you like the pattern and I would love to see pictures of your quilt using the pattern. Now get SEWING
I will be adding this blanket to my shop in the and you can find it here
Also, please only use this pattern for personal use. Do not copy the pattern and sell it as your own. Also you are more than welcome to make and sell this blanket (just not the pattern) Thanks for understanding
Also just wanted to let you all know that this month I have been hosting a 30 day food challenge where I have not cooked the same thing 2 times the entire month…it has been a little bit of a challenge, but really great too.
If you want to join me pop on over to my blog and follow along. You will get 3 great recipes every day for the rest of the month. Hope to see you there!

Beautiful quilt!!
I first saw a rag quilt in 2000 in a little store in North Dakota. I took a million pictures of it and then I made one….a Christmas Quilt. Took me two years (because I made it huge!) but it's my favorite.
I've had an idea in my head for a new quilt and you just inspired me to make it a rag quilt. Perfect!
