Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Shea Butter
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Butter
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
  • 25-30 drops Rose Essential Oil
  • 5-10 drops Coloring (optional) use coloring for soaps or lotions I have a link to all of the ingredients in the post.

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except essential oils in a double boiler. If you don’t have a double boiler — simply bring an inch or two of water to a simmer— gentle heat. Then place the bowl over top. You want it to fit snugly without touching the water (if it dips into the water, it will get too hot)

  2. Gently heat ingredients, stirring until they melt together.

  3. Take bowl with melted ingredients off the pan and let it cool.

  4. Then pop it into the fridge or freezer and let it get firm – don’t let it freeze. It is ready when you can put your finger in the middle and it makes an indentation. Be sure to let it set up or it will not whip.

  5. Whip with a hand mixer or stand mixer until mixture looks like frosting and it is light and fluffy. This takes about 5 minutes

  6. Fold in essential oil and coloring (optional) and mix together.

  7. Print off the FREE LABELS (the link to them is in the post)

  8. Fill jars with body butter and attach labels.

  9. Now you have the CUTEST and best-smelling Mother’s Day gift or pretty much a gift for any occasion.
