I just made this with my kids. We had to put the toothpicks into the styrofoam before putting the gorilla glue on the marshmallows and then pushed the marshmallow onto the toothpick. We used 4 bags of big marshmallows and 1/2 bag of small ones (our styrofoam was flatter than the one picture … maybe that’s why we had to use so many more??). I couldn’t find inexpensive gumdrops (was going to have to pay by the pound!) so we used 2 boxes of Dots instead. Those we didn’t glue at all. They seemed to have a great grip on the toothpick! I plan on hanging this in my kitchen. Hoping it lasts a few months since it’s more “winter” than too Christmas-y. Super cute idea! Hope it holds up!

Does this wreath need to be weatherized somehow? Seems like high humidity or rain would make it all soggy.

Your marshmallow wreath is so cute. I want to try and make it but I have a question. How many bags of marshmallows did you use? In the picutre you show 1 bag of regular and 1 bag of mini marshmallows, but the wreath looks like you used a whole lot more than that. Thanks!
